


This white mug is a true collector's item, handcrafted by the residents of the ceramics workshop. It is adorned with the insignia of the 1st Foreign Engineer Regiment of Laudun, an emblematic regiment of the Foreign Legion. The insignia pays tribute to the spirit of valor, discipline, and sacrifice that characterizes the engineer legionnaires of this regiment, specialized in infrastructure construction and mine clearance in difficult terrain. Each mug represents a tribute to their unwavering commitment, while supporting the reintegration projects of former legionnaires.

The 1st REG of Laudun was formed in 1960 and is today a combat unit renowned for its expertise in engineering missions, such as the development of military infrastructure and the destruction of obstacles on the ground. Based in Laudun in the south of France, it has participated in numerous overseas operations, notably in Africa and the Middle East, highlighting the ability of legionnaires to overcome the most complex challenges. The regiment's insignia reflects this rich history and the commitment of the regiment's men.
